Sing for the Inspiration.

Some people talk about things that get them through the day such as always having a coffee in the morning or seeing a certain person in the day. I myself have one of those things but mine is something that many have access to and many others might use themself for inspiration. My inspiration to make it through the hardships and trouble of my life is listening to Eminem. He has over 250 songs and so it is quite easily that I can relate to his music. From Rock Bottom to Sing for the Moment to My Dad's Gone Crazy he spits out rhymes with emotion and such a different view of things. He talks about failure to troubled homes to just everyday life because hes lived it all himself. All I know is if you took away my Eminem I'd go crazy....so don't!

Blast from the Past!

Oh god, the possibilities. I would choose to go back to a day where my Opa was still alive before he was put in the hospital and started having his medical dificulties. I would be around the age of 4 or 5 and still be very innocent and naive. I would want to go back with the mindset and maturity I have now though. I would just want to sit on his lap in the rocking chair that we always used to hangout on and talk to him all day and try to catch up on all the time I feel we lost by him passing away. It's strange how I knew him for only a few years and yet he's one of my heroes. Maybe it's the fact my middle name is his first name? But I would ask him to just tell me stories about his life so I could feel like I knew him better because although he was my Opa, he was also my bestfriend when I was little. But I feel like my time was cut short with my bestfriend. So basically I'd just stay and talk to him endlessly for hours for a day and make sure I had the chance to say thank you for everything he did and goodbye.

Looking For Alaska, By: John Green

This is a must read book for sure. It tells the story of a young boy named Miles who heads out from his Florida home where he lived with his parents to Culver Creek Preparatory School in Alabama. Almost right away he gets caught up in his roommates "squabbles" and finds himself in an ensuing prank war against the "weekday warriors". He is soon nicknamed "pudge" which is quite ironic due to the fact he's quite thin. You will find whilst reading this book you will get quite caught up in the teenage year antics of Pudge, Chip "the Colonel", and Alaska Young, who will go from smoking on school property, to drinking milk mixed with alcohol, and many more stuff you'll find yourself smiling (or tearing up a bit) to. Yet, at the same this book is filled with very thoughtful ideas such as Alaska saying, "Y'all smoke to enjoy it. I smoke to die" which actually makes you think. This is definitely a book you need to be open-minded for because there's a lot of questions or ideas that are deep and very indepth included such as Pudge speaking about Alaska, "“I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not fuck, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was hurricane.”
